Abstract

Prognostic factors to breast câncer are either used to forecast disease evolution
pattern or to select patients who probably would benefit from receiving adjuvant
therapy. We carried out a literature review on the prognostic factors to breast câncer,
being axillary node metastasis the most acknowledged predictor associated to a poor
breast câncer evolution. Besides the number of axillary lymph nodes involved, other mentioned prognostic factors are age (the younger showing worst prognostic), tumor
size, hystologic grade, and vascular involvement, ali of them displaying independent
associated risks.
