Young researcher

Mastology considers "young researchers" to be individuals with limited experience in scientific publications, whether in the creation of the manuscript itself or in the diversity of publication formats. This audience generally includes undergraduate students, mastology residents, and master's students in the health field

Aiming to assist young researchers in the field of mastology in completing and improving their publications, the journal has created institutional mechanisms to support their scientific projects.

  1. Course on Scientific Methodology Associated with Publication

The course consists of 13 basic topics related to scientific publication, designed to present the main points to be considered when preparing a manuscript. The topics are presented by Brazilian professors with extensive publication experience, who deliver the subject matter in a clear, objective, and educational manner.

  1. Scientific Mentoring by Young Brazilian Researchers

Mastology promotes a scientific mentoring program led by Brazilian doctoral students and PhD holders who voluntarily offer to assist young researchers. The goal of this initiative is to facilitate and improve the publication process in the journal.

The Editorial Board of Mastology will offer this mentoring service specifically for articles that demonstrate clear publication potential but have been submitted with inadequate presentation or structural flaws that can be corrected with proper guidance.

Detailed information on how to apply for mentoring or how to volunteer as a mentor will be provided on this page soon.
