RECIDIVA LOCAL DE CÂNCER DE MAMA: RESSECÇÃO DE PAREDE TORÁCICA COM NOVA TÉCNICA DE RECONSTRUÇÃO

Os autores apresentam uma nova técnica para reconstrução de parede torácica após
ressecção ampla por recidiva local de neoplasia da mama. Quatro pacientes foram submetidas
a ressecção de toda a espessura da parede torácica e a reconstrução realizada através de tela
confeccionada durante o ato operatório com fios de aço 2.0. Não houve complicações pósoperatórias e duas pacientes foram a óbito por doenças sistêmicas 19 e 21 meses após o
procedimento. Duas pacientes se encontram vivas e sem evidência de doença 53 e 61 meses
após a cirurgia.
