Abstract

The author presents a special pattern desing used in the mammaplasties to avoid the medial scar created by the traditional techiques.

This pattern can be applied for cases of mastopexy and to the different types of breast reduction. This subject explains how to use the pattern over the skin demarcation in the conventional techniques and how the surgical procedures are performed. The final scar will take a lazy coma aspect with the lateral scar placed on the inframammary sulcus.

Comments warning how to avoid secondary problems usually observed in the L techiniques.

This paper is based on the experience and the observation of 63 operated patients, in 1987 — and the average of mammary disease found in the patients, after histological analyses.
