Um estudo da expressão de marcadores imunoistoquímicos (receptor de estrogênio, P53 E HER-2) e fatores anatomoclínicos de câncer de mama em pacientes axila-negativas

Os aspectos heterogêneos do câncer de mama, associados ao mau prognóstico, têm
incentivado a identificação de fatores que permitam a melhor compreensão do seu comportamento biológico. Estes fatores podem ser divididos em anatomopatológicos e biológicos. Em
pacientes axila-negativas os objetivos foram: estudar a expressão do oncogene HER-2, do
gene supressor P53 e correlacioná-los com a expressão dos receptores de estrogênio e com os
fatores anatomoclínicos. Analisamos, retrospectivamente, 54 pacientes axila-negativas com
câncer de mama através de dados anatomoclínicos e avaliamos o tumor por técnicas imunoistoquímicas, correlacionando-o à expressão do receptor de estrogênio, do oncogene HER-2 e do
gene supressor P53. Obtivemos correlações significativas entre diversos parâmetros anatomoclínicos. Em relação a período livre de doença e sobrevida global houve associações significativas entre: período livre de doença (PLD) e grau histológico, PLD e incidência de metástases,
PLD e expressão do gene supressor P53, sobrevida e tamanho do tumor e sobrevida e incidência de metástases. A expressão do gene supressor P53 associou-se à negatividade do receptor
de estrogênio e ao menor período livre de doença, enquanto a expressão do oncogene HER-2
revelou-se sem valor prognóstico. Entre os fatores de prognóstico estudados, os parâmetros
anatomoclínicos são mais relevantes.
