Abstract

The Iupus erythematosus is one ofthe most frequent diseases ofthe conjunctive tissue.
The attack can be on/y cutaneous oreven systemic. Itreaches women preferentially during the
reproductive age. The breasts need specia/ care during the evoiution of the Iupus, beca use
they can be attacked by a mastitis form or to ha ve increased câncer incidence. The a uth ors teii
a patienfs case of iupus erythematosus with mammary noduie biiateraiiy, suspected by the
bilateral mammography, that revealed to be iupus panniculitis after core biopsy guided by
ultrasound.
