Abstract

The authors analise with details the different types of gynecomastias. Their macro and microscopical characteristics and the value of the etiological diagnosis in directing a corret treatment. Same special observations are made on gynecomastias caused by hormonal alterations which can occur in any age group, from the newborn to the agedness. Special mentions are made on the surgical approach as a definite recourse, and the experience of the authors on thirty patients operated by the Webster's technique.
